part of an international consortium which has been awarded a
Service Contract for EU Support to the Economic Policy Planning
Unit in Sarajevo. Duration of the Contract: October 2004 to
October 2006. The consortium is composed of ECORYS, Rotterdam;
Hypodomi, Athens; Human Dynamics, Vienna; The Vienna Institute
of International Economic Studies-wiiw; Faculty of Economics
at the University ol Ljubljana; Faculty of Economics, Banja
Luka; and the Ekonomski Institut Sarajevo. The Economic Policy
Planning Unit of Bosnia and Herzegovina (EPPU) resorts to the
Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers. Its aim is to provide
economic policy andvice and strategic guideance to the BiH governments
Assistance under this contract is being provided through two
complementary sets of activities. One is focusing on the internal
organization and capacity building of the EPPU itself and the
second one is aiming to involve a wider (targeted) public into
the scientific and political debate on economic policy issues
in BiH. |
