The book is also available in PDF on CD-ROM, containing not only all tables of the printed version (1990, 1995, 1998-2002), but the complete time series from 1990 onwards.  Alternatively, the tables contained in the handbook are available in  MS Excel format on CD-ROM (time range from 1990 to 2002). They can be used on any personal computer with MS Excel or another compatible software package, permitting a wide range of own analyses. (Includes PDF as well.)  You can also purchase individual chapters (tables in MS Excel format) on diskette.  Most time series and related tables correspond to the Monthly, Annual and Industrial Databases maintained and regularly updated by wiiw. Database labels listed by most series may be used as a tool for online access. Interested external users may access the wiiw Annual Database through the Computing Centre for Economics and Social Sciences (WSR) which services the Institute. The database can also be accessed via Thomson Financial, London, and DRI* WEFA, Washington D.C.
