| The Vienna Institute Monthly Report brings continuing coverage
of the transition economies, summarizing and interpreting the latest developments
in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, and putting
them in the larger context of the complex web of changes going on throughout
the region and Europe as a whole.
Timely and in English, the Monthly Report addresses each country in detail at least once per quarter, as well as analysing key sectors and trends. Every report is written by one of the Institute's research economists, joined by contributing outside experts, and based on primary national and international source material, country visits and extensive networks of personal contacts. Each of the issues also contains a Statistical Appendix with tables of key indicators from the latest country data excerpted from the WIIW Monthly Database.
